Simona is a Lead QA, Game Designer, Producer, and independent developer with over ten years of experience in the video game industry. She has worked on both flight simulators and independent projects, developing an interdisciplinary approach that connects quality assurance, design, and creativity across different stages of development.
She is the creator of Sea of Leaves, a narrative indie game currently in development, and the founder of the first Game Jam in Puglia. She has also curated and supported several local events and festivals focused on game development and video game culture, helping strengthen the regional developer community.
Through her work and teaching, she promotes a QA-centric mindset, highlighting the critical and creative role of testers within development teams and emphasizing the importance of collaboration between QA, designers, and developers to improve the overall player experience.
